Stirling MSP Evelyn Tweed has commended the efforts of Stirling’s young artists as she announced the winner of her annual Christmas Card Competition. The announcement follows an impressive 57 entries from pupils across five primary schools in the Stirling constituency.
This year’s winning design was created by Sarah Williams, a Primary 4 pupil at Cambusbarron Primary School. Her beautifully detailed snowy scene stood out among the many imaginative and creative entries submitted by local pupils.
Now in its third year, the competition continues to be a much-loved tradition, showcasing the artistic talent of primary school aged children across Stirling. The winning design will feature on Evelyn’s official 2025 Christmas card, which is shared with local groups, organisations and constituents.
Evelyn offered her thanks to every pupil who took part, as well as to the teachers and parents who supported the entries.
Evelyn Tweed MSP said: “I have been inundated with beautiful, imaginative cards once again. Congratulations to Sarah, I absolutely loved the detail in her stunning snowy scene featuring a beautiful little Robin. It is always such a joy to see the talent and creativity of local pupils. Running this competition is always one of the genuine highlights of the year. Thank you to everyone who took part and supported it. Merry Christmas!”
